Beaujolais Wine Challenge

For the first time ever in Hong Kong, Inter Beaujolais will organise a wine challenge to unveil the diversity and quality of this eastern French region to wine lovers. A panel of top sommeliers will be invited to blind taste all available appellations in Hong Kong, namely: Beaujolais (Red, White and Rosé), Beaujolais Villages (Red and White), Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly, Régnié, Fleurie, Chiroubles, Saint-Amour, Chénas, Juliénas, Morgon and Moulin-à-Vent.

The aim of the competition is to promote Gamay by gathering professional insights into its characteristics, specificities and qualities. The grape is a unique grape varietal in Beaujolais. Its juicy, fresh and fruity characters are pleasurable, while its lovely tannic framework provides wines with true cellaring potential. That is why we say Beaujolais is wine for all occasions.
